Getting new gear is exciting, and if you’re at all like me, taxing as well. This probably isn’t the first opinion you’ve read, and I doubt it will be your last. Nothing bums me out like bringing new gear home and being frustrated because it doesn’t sound the way I expected.
If you are looking to upgrade your gear, these are things I personally look for, or have learned. There may be better, much more in depth opinions, but I think you can drive yourself crazy with specs and features, getting lost along the way. I try to focus on keeping it as simple as possible while still explaining why.
Check out the gear I recommend and do your own research, or just go with it and enjoy.
